UPDATE: Haaretz corrects it's error

The editors at Haaretz have corrected their dreadful mischaracterization of the United Nations General Assembly resolution opposing Holocaust denial and distortion.

Thanks to everyone who raised their voice about this.

While Haaretz is to be commended for correcting their error (although they don't, as of this writing, note their error), the incorrect statement was up for a long time, and the damage it could do was, in great measure, done. Moreover, that mistake was the kind that, based on professional standards of journalism and editing, should never have been made.

Ongoing scrutiny is very much warranted. Haaretz is too important a news source for this sort of thing to be acceptable.
