You're saying that Harris "can take this letter and give it her full support and say, I will hold the Israeli Administration to the standards of U.S. Law." The letter is out there and it is indeed a standard for what Israel needs to do to be in compliance with MSN 20, Arms Export Control Act, Foreign Assistance Act and the Leahy Law. Her statement that Israel cannot use these weapons in violation of US laws or in violation of human rights norms can help — but will it save lives?
There's something else she can do RIGHT NOW w/o opposing the President: she can press the Gov. of Israel to pull back to allow aid to reach families in Northern Gaza, specifically to allow food, water, and medicine to reach them by truck, by donkey cart (because the roads are gone) and by air, much like a modern Berlin airlift.
